Historic Journeys has long felt that every person, at some point in their life, needs to experience Washington, DC. Pictures and words on the pages of civics books do not do justice to our nation's capital. From the majestic monuments and memorials to the world class Smithsonian Institute, a journey to Washington, DC will surely educate and inspire each member of your group.
New York City has long been a symbol of freedom throughout the world. Lady Liberty stands in the harbor of this great city bearing the inscription "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free." Groups participating in this program will gain an appreciation of the rich history and culture of New York as they visit such sites as Wall Street, Chinatown, the 9/11 Memorial, Greenwich, Times Square, Central Park and many other iconic neighborhoods.
This journey combines the rich history and culture of two of this country's most iconic destinations. Participants will be immersed in the education and entertainment that New York and Washington, DC have to offer. From the grandeur of the Smithsonian Institute museums in DC to the world-class performers on the stages of Broadway in New York, each member of the group will gain a deeper knowledge and appreciation of this part of the country.

From walking the Freedom Trail to riding the ferry to the Statue of Liberty, each member of your group will feel connected to people and places that have been instrumental in the building of this country. Step out of the classroom and into history as you walk the streets of Williamsburg, Washington, DC and Philadelphia. You will experience the history of America from its early days as English Colonies, to the signing of Declaration of Independence, and all the way up to history being made today in our nation's capital. From the spectacular Grand Canyon, to the historic western town on Tombstone, Arizona embodies the beauty, history and culture of the great Southwest.
The attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 forever changed the course of history in the world. A journey into our beautiful island state will provide every traveler a deep appreciation of the history and culture that has captivated visitors for centuries. But perhaps more importantly, a visit to Hawaii and Pearl Harbor will help foster a sincere gratitude for the sacrifice of our brave men and women in uniform.
